MADISON, Wis. (WBAY) — Wisconsin Senate Republicans have elected Sen. Julian Bradley to serve as minority leader for the upcoming legislative session following Tuesday’s election.

Bradley, R-New Berlin, represents the 28th Senate District, covering parts of Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth counties. He will step into the leadership role when the Legislature reconvenes in January 2027.

Addressing the shift in the balance of power, Bradley said the caucus remains committed to its core platform.

“Tuesday’s results changed the math in the Senate, but they didn’t change what we believe or who we work for,” Bradley said in a statement. “Wisconsin families still want safe communities, good jobs, and a government that lives within its means. We’re going to keep fighting for those goals and our state.”

Bradley added that the caucus will focus on tax relief and economic opportunity in the new session.
