SNC rides defense to 2nd round of NCAA playoffs

St. Norbert will travel to play UW-Whitewater Saturday in the 2nd round of the NCAA Division 3 football playoffs. This is just the 2nd time the Green Knights have advanced out of the first round in 13 appearances. Defense is the Knights calling card, ranking 2nd in the nation in total defense and defensive touchdowns, and 3rd in interceptions. They have recorded 4 shutouts for the first time since 2000.
