MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Gray) - Former Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned in Milwaukee on Monday for Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Crowley, urging voters to push back against the Trump administration by voting for Crowley.

“In this election, Wisconsin has a very clear choice and the choice is David Crowley,” Harris said.

The visit comes eight days before the Nov. 3 election. Both gubernatorial candidates are criss-crossing the state to make final campaign stops ahead of Election Day.

Republican candidate Tom Tiffany responded to Harris’ visit during a bus tour stop in Racine, calling it “Kamala Monday” in Wisconsin.

“Why would you bring Kamala Harris into Wisconsin at this point? It’s because of desperation. I mean, they are going to every means possible to try to turn voters out because the enthusiasm is just not there for David Crowley at this point,” Tiffany said.
