Suspect in custody after shots fired incident in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - A suspect is in custody after a shots-fired incident in Oshkosh on Saturday.

Just before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, the Oshkosh Police Department responded to the 1100 block of Cherry Street for a report of someone firing a gun in the area.

Officers arrived on the scene and confirmed that nobody was hurt. They identified the suspect’s vehicle and performed a high-risk traffic stop. Police say the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Police believe that this is an isolated incident, and they say they are not looking for any other suspects. The investigation is still active.
