Bucs draft St. Mary’s Springs grad Billy Schrauth in 5th round of NFL Draft

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - St. Mary’s Springs graduate Billy Schrauth was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 5th round of the NFL Draft at #160 overall.

The Ledgers’ legend was the top recruit in the state of Wisconsin coming out of high school, and spent the last 4 years at the University of Notre Dame. He helped lead the Fighting Irish to the CFP national championship game two seasons ago.

Schrauth will join fellow homegrown star Luke Goedeke (Valders) on the Bucs’ offensive line.
