Oshkosh Area Humane Society needs adopters, fosters for 151 cats and kittens

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - The Oshkosh Area Humane Society is asking for your help because the shelter reached its capacity.

The shelter says it’s currently taking care of 151 cats and kittens, including 44 that came within the last 10 days -- the shelter rescued those 44 animals from just two households.

There are 51 up for adoption right now on the Humane Society’s website to find forever homes. It also needs nearly 80 foster homes for the cats.

Because the Humane Society doesn’t put a limit on how long they stay, it can’t take in any more cats until some of these are adopted.
