Hope Fridge reopens outside Oshkosh church
Food and supplies are available to anyone
OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - The Hope Fridge in Oshkosh reopens Thursday, Oct. 2.
The Hope Fridge is a community-run project providing food and essential supplies through outdoor refrigerators and pantries.
It’s located outside Trinity Episcopal Church on Algoma Blvd. and is open to everyone.
“People are just trying their best, and people are working some jobs and kids are taking care of themselves at times and siblings are taking care of each others, so this is just a way to help ease that and give them that free food, no judgment, no questions asked,” Megan Berg, youth team lead for Christine Ann Domestic Abuse services said.
You can also make donations at the church for the Hope Fridge.
Some of the items needed are fresh produce, ready-to-eat meals, at the church. non-perishable food, household supplies, baby items and personal hygiene products.
