WINNECONNE, Wis. (WBAY) - Winneconne police arrested a 49-year-old woman with three arrest warrants after pulling over a suspicious vehicle near a daycare on Tuesday.
Police say the three people in the car -- a 66-year-old man, 57-year-old woman, and 49-year-old woman, all from the Oshkosh area -- admitted to recent drug use and that one was on probation.
A Winnebago County sheriff’s K9 and deputy helped locate crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia in the car.
Officers learned the 49-year-old gave them false identification and had the three arrest warrants.
She told police all three recently left a drug house in Oshkosh where they smoking crack but ran out. They were on their way to an assisted-living facility in Winneconne to get money from a resident there and go back to Oshkosh to buy more crack.
Police say they’re requesting charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing an officer, and bail jumping.
Winneconne police say they’re also working to ensure the safety and well-being of the assisted-living resident.
