BLACK CREEK, Wis. (WBAY) - The Salvation Army in Black Creek is looking for volunteers to help with renovations Thursday.

The Bread of Life Center, 227 E. State St., is able to update older parts of the building thanks to a $65,000 grant from Lowe’s.

The Salvation Army will be renovating the floors, windows, doors and a section of walls and ceiling.

Lowe’s red vest associates will help with the project, but the public is invited to help make the work easier.

The Lowe’s Hometowns program funds 100 community renovations every year with a goal of improving 10 million square feet of neighborhood hubs in five years.
