Winnebago County forum to discuss uses for UWO-Fox Cities campus

MENASHA, Wis. (WBAY) - Winnebago County officials are getting ideas from the public about the future of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s Fox Cities campus.

The UWO chancellor announced a year ago that teaching and learning at the school would end on June 30, 2025, due to plunging enrollment.

The county will take ownership of the campus on July 1, and county officials are looking for ideas to repurpose and redevelop the buildings and outdoor spaces.

The public forum is at the United Way Fox Cities, 1455 Midway Rd., in Menasha. The meeting runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
