OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - The Oshkosh Public Library is accepting applications for a summer internship.

Candidates must be 16 years old or older and enrolled to be a junior or senior in high school in the fall.

The library says it’s a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career working with children but will also provide valuable experience with library careers and a connected learning project.

Teens will be paid $14.25 an hour for 10 to 15 hours of work. The internship starts the week of June 9 and goes through August 31.

Applications are due May 15. Apply online through the City of Oshkosh website. Look for the “Library Intern” on the list of job openings.

The internship is funded by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
