OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - A man charged in a fatal stabbing entered a no contest plea on Tuesday, according to online court records.

Sybastian Crossman pleaded no contest to a charge of Homicide by Negligent Handling of Dangerous Weapon. He was previously charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide.

Police say Crossman got into a fight last August with a group he had a “longstanding” feud with, and a witness saw Crossman stab a person in the abdomen.

The victim died after being brought to a hospital. The victim wasn’t publicly identified due to the family invoking Marsy’s Law.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 23 at 1:45 p.m.
