OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - Oshkosh police continue to investigate three shooting incidents from last week involving teenagers.

Those incidents all happened between March 12 and 14. No injuries were reported.

Suspects in two of the three shootings have since been taken into custody.

A couple more teenagers have also been arrested on other gun-related charges.

The three shootings took place in the 1100 block of Cherry Street, the 300 block of Dove Street, and the 1000 block of Jefferson Street.

Witnesses told police they heard gunshots in all three incidents.

In one of the cases, witnesses say they saw someone fire several shots toward a home before driving away.

In the latest incident on Jefferson, officials found one house was struck by multiple bullets.

Two suspects are in custody: a 16-year-old girl in connection with the Jefferson Street shooting, and a 15-year-old boy in connection with the Cherry Street incident.

Police are still working to determine how each suspect got the weapons, a step in the investigation that Lieutenant Brett Robertson says is important for helping prevent future incidents.

“Juveniles having firearms, it’s alarming for us and so we especially try to do background checks on all of that information and follow up with it. We want to try to identify what we need to do as law enforcement to target, either certain areas of crime and in this case how are they getting their hands on these guns so we can proactively, you know try to stop it,” Lieutenant Robertson said.

Lieutenant Robertson says at this time, the three shootings are believed to be isolated incidents.
