5th Annual Good Neighbor Week underway in Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Green Bay’s fifth Annual “Good Neighbor Week” is underway.

This year, volunteers will tackle 14 minor home repair and yard maintenance projects around town for those who applied earlier this year.

It gives people a chance to lend a helping hand and connect with the community. There’s still time -- if you want to help out.

“If they want to volunteer, they can go right to GreenBayWorks website, go to the Good Neighbor Week page and there is a sign-up link on there as well. If you’d like to donate financially, there’s an opportunity on that web page as well,” said Vicki Bokelman, Community Outreach Coordinator of NeighborWorks Green Bay.

Some neighborhoods are also planning block parties, walks, and music events for everyone to enjoy!
