GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - I know. Jordan Love has thrown for 18 TD passes and just 1 interception the last 8 games. But the Packers had better have a plan for, and beware of, DaRon Bland and the Cowboys’ secondary.

Bland, filling in for an injured Trevon Diggs, has led the league with 9 interceptions and set an all-time NFL record with 5 pick sixes. There was surely no drop off when Diggs went down.

“It’s been pretty impressive,” said Packers head coach Matt LaFleur. “Those guys do a great job and are well coached. They jump a lot of routes, but you don’t see a lot of routes go over the top of their heads. That speaks a lot of those guys, because you don’t always see that. All those guys on the back end, I think they have 26 takeaways, they all have ball skills. You have to be precise with the rhythm and timing on the passing game. You have to make sure the wideouts are coming off the ball with the correct pad level and are snitching on certain routes and concepts to allow them to make those types of plays.”

“The game plans the coaches are putting in, the guys know where to be, when to be on time,” said right guard Jon Runyan Jr. “Jordan (Love) is able to go through his protections, and we are giving him time down the field with things opening up. And he is really decisive with the ball.”

“We have been playing some of our best ball and getting better every week and have won some important games that we have had to win the past couple weeks,” Love said. “I think we are rolling right now and we are going to carry that momentum going forward in the playoffs.” There’s plenty of good news for the Packers on the injury front. Running back A.J. Dillon was the only player not practicing. That is good news for receivers Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson, and everyone else on the mend.
