Gusty winds

Gusty west winds ranging from 20 to 35 miles an hour, will keep today's temperatures in the colder low to mid 40s.

PRECIPITATION ROUND TWO STARTS LATER TODAY

SATURDAY NIGHT precipitation begins to pick up again by the evening. From midnight to 6 AM heavy snow will fall north and west of the fox cities with areas in north Central Wisconsin getting as much as 8-14" of snow. Closer to Shawano and Meanwhile areas south will see the transition from mix/rain to snow prior to sunrise Sunday.

MIX BAG OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION THIS WEEKEND

SATURDAY light snow and wintry mix are likely. 1-3" of snow will be possible across northeast Wisconsin. There may also be a brief period of freezing rain which could result in roads quickly becoming icy...travel with caution. Precipitation will become more spotty by this afternoon and temperatures will be warm enough that much of it fall as light rain or drizzle.
