Tinch signs NLI to Minnesota for two sports

Bay Port senior Cordell Tinch signed his national letter of intent to the University of Minnesota for two sports on Wednesday.
Tinch will join the Gophers football and track &field teams next fall. The plan is for him to redshirt his freshman year in football but to immediately join the track team baring injuries.
The football team does not have an official position for Tinch. The plan is for him to basically be listed as an 'athlete' and then to decide his future position after his redshirt season.
