Packers place DL Kenny Clark on injured reserve

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Green Bay Packers have placed DL Kenny Clark on injured reserve ahead of the season finale at Lambeau Field.

Clark finishes the season with 6 sacks. He racked up 55 tackles.

Clark has been out of the line up since he sprained his elbow during the Dec. 9 Atlanta Falcons game.

Action 2 Sports director Chris Roth says it's not surprising. The team didn't want to risk playing him and causing further injury to the elbow.

Kenny Clark is the Packers nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. Click here to learn about Clark's work off the field.

T/G Alex Light has been activated from suspension.

The Packers wrap up their season Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
