LaFleur bolsters coaching staff, Gutekunst adds to personnel department

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur has begun to solidify his coaching staff which now stands at six total.

In addition to holdover in defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, LaFleur has added Kirk Olivadotti as inside linebackers coach, Justin Outten as tight ends coach and Adam Stenavich as offensive line coach. He also hired former Jacksonville Jaguars Offensive Coordinator Nathaniel Hackett on January 16.

Kirk Olivadotti has spent 16 seasons as a coach in the NFL, all with the Washington Redskins. During his time with the Redskins, Washington ranked in the top 10 in the NFL in overall defense eight times. The past five seasons (2014-18),

Olivadotti coached inside linebackers for Washington. From 2011-13, he served in the same position at the University of Georgia. Prior to his stint with the Bulldogs, Olivadotti spent 11 seasons with the Redskins as a defensive assistant (2010), linebackers coach (2007-09), defensive line assistant/special teams assistant (2006), defensive quality control/special teams assistant (2004-05) and defensive quality control/defensive back assistant (2000-03).

Justin Outten was the offensive assistant for the Atlanta Falcons the past two seasons (2017-18). He began with the Falcons as an offensive intern in 2016. Over the last three seasons,

Atlanta has averaged 27.2 points per game (No. 4 in the NFL over that span) and 389.9 yards per game (No. 3 in the league over that span). Before joining the Falcons, Outten worked as the assistant head coach/offensive coordinator/offensive line coach at Westfield High School in Houston, Texas from 2008-15.

Adam Stenavich joins the Packers after serving as the assistant offensive line coach for the San Francisco 49ers the last two seasons.

Prior to joining the 49ers, Stenavich spent six years in the college ranks. He first worked as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of Michigan (2011), then a graduate assistant for the Wolverines (2012-13) and then coached the offensive lines at Northern Arizona University (2014) and San Jose State (2015-16).

The Marshfield, Wis., native played left tackle at Michigan (2002-05) and was named first-team All-Big Ten in 2004-05.

Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst has officially named Milt Hendrickson “director – football operations.”

Hendrickson has been with the Baltimore Ravens for the past 14 seasons (2005-18). Prior to that, he was a training camp intern for the Packers in 2004. Hendrickson and Gutekunst’s relationship goes far back. The two coached together at UW-La Crosse in 1996, Gutekunst coached linebackers while Hendrickson was an assistant offensive line coach.
