The Green Bay Phoenix will play in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament for the 5th time in program history. The field of 64 teams was announced on Monday night, with the Phoenix (22-9) being awarded a home game against Kent State (19-12). This is the first time Green Bay will host a postseason tournament game. The game will be played Thursday night at the Kress Events Center, start time still to be determined.

This will be the 4th meeting all time between the Phoenix and Golden Flashes, with Green Bay winning the previous three; the most recent meeting came in the 2004-2005 season.
