The beginning of the pandemic exposed issues in the meat processing industry across the country and the logjam many local farmers find when trying to get meat to customers. After two years, Wisconsin farmers say they face the same challenges in getting animals to the table.
Since 1971, ‘Heart-A-Rama’ has raised almost $3,00,000 for the American Heart Association and its research, along with donations of AEDs to public places throughout Manitowoc County to help people survive cardiac arrests.
