According to our radio partner, WHBY, a 44-year-old woman was found dead on Sunday morning on the railroad tracks in Menasha.

Menasha Police say she was walking to a friend's house when she fell on a set of tracks. Her snow-covered body was found by a city snowplow driver on the Canadian National Railroad tracks. This was near Water and Lush streets at 6:25 Sunday morning.

An autopsy is planned for this week.

Police say it appeared the woman was there for a few hours, but no trains had come by in that time. All of the surrounding footprints were hers or were accounted for.

At this time police there's no sign of foul play or any reason to think there's a danger to the public.

An autopsy is planned this week.

Police aren't releasing more information about the woman until they have a report from the Milwaukee County coroner's office.
