MADISON, Wis. (WBAY) - Wisconsin once again sets a record for the National Drug Take Back Day.
Attorney General Brad Schimel says the state collected more than 68,000 pounds of unused medications in October's Drug Take Back Day.
That's more than 48 other states, second only to California. And it bests the 66,000 pounds collected in Wisconsin in the April, 2017, Take Back Day.
All of the drugs collected at 145 events statewide were boxed up and incinerated in November.
