Water Pik recalls Sonic-Fusion flossing toothbrush

Water Pik is recalling 3,800 Sonic-Fusion flossing toothbrushes because the base can overheat and melt, spark, or start on fire.

The Food and Drug Administration says Water Pik issued the voluntary recall last week after reports of the product malfunctioning.

The recall only affects units distributed since June 2017 to reviewers, trade show customers, educators, and through limited direct online sales.

If you have one of these, unplug it immediately and contact Water Pik toll-free at 1-800-674-7718 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Central Time, or email SonicFusion-Return@Waterpik.com for information.
