Two arrested for random assaults in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - Police have arrested two people for a series of assaults in Oshkosh.

The suspects were arrested Sept. 13 in Green Bay.

Police say the men, ages 18 and 20, are responsible for assaults that happened Sept. 8 near the intersection of Lincoln Av. and Wisconsin St. in Oshkosh.

Investigators believe these were random assaults. They happened between 1:14 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. Victims reported getting punched in the face. One victim reported that his wallet was taken.

The 18-year-old was arrested on three counts of Party to the Crime of Substantial Battery, Battery and Party to the Crime of Robbery.

The 20-year-old was arrested on two outstanding warrants, Party to the Crime of Substantial Battery, and six counts (five felony and one misdemeanor) of bail jumping.

Police did not identify the suspects.
