Don't be alarmed by "crisis" at a Sheboygan hospital Tuesday

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WBAY) - A large-scale exercise with local and county first responders is planned at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center on Tuesday, April 16.

Emergency responders will be simulating an aircraft crashing at the hospital, requiring patient triage and response to a large fuel spill.

It's scheduled to start at 2 p.m. and last approximately two hours.

There's no need for alarm when you see all of the emergency vehicles.
Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center, Flight for Life, Orange Cross Ambulance, St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan County Emergency Management, Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department, Sheboygan Fire Department, Sheboygan Police Department are all partnering in the exercise.

People are asked to avoid the area if they can during the exercise because of the congestion.
