Teenager arrested for alleged threats to Seymour High School

SEYMOUR, Wis. (WBAY) – A 17-year-old teenager was arrested Saturday for allegedly making threats towards Seymour High School using social media. Authorities said he is a former student of the Seymour School District.

On Friday, the Seymour Police Department was alerted about the potential threat. Officials said they discovered the suspect did not live in the City of Seymour and the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the city to find the suspect.

The 17-year-old was arrested Saturday and authorities said he was cooperative with investigators. He was booked into the Outagamie County Jail for Terrorist Threats and Disorderly Conduct.

Officials said there were no credible threats to the Seymour schools.
