GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Windy rounds out the lineup for Nicolet Bank Tall Ships in Green Bay.
Windy is a 148-foot, traditional four-masted gaff topsail schooner. The tall ship is made from modern materials, but "has all the character and charm of the great Age of Sail," according to festival staff.
Windy comes to Green Bay from Navy Pier in Chicago. It will offer a sail excursion from Sturgeon Bay to Green Bay prior to the start of the festival. CLICK HERE to learn more about the Windy excursion.
Nicolet Bank Tall Ships is July 26-28 in downtown Green Bay' Leicht Memorial Park. There will be fireworks Friday, July 26, at about 9:20 p.m.

Some ships will depart Green Bay on Monday, July 29 and sail to Sturgeon Bay. Other ships will depart on Tuesday, July 30, and sail to Algoma.

The World's Largest Rubber Duck will also be part of the festival. "Mama Duck" is a selfie station. She weights 11 tons!
General admission is $15. Children ages 5-12 admission is $10. Children 4 and under get in free.
Seniors and active military veterans get in for $13.
Family day is Sunday, July 28. Kids 5-12 get in for $5 on that day.
