Sweet reward offered for return of turtles stolen from Uncle Mike's

BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) - A sweet reward is being offered for the return of decorative turtles taken from a local bakery.

Uncle Mike's Bake Shoppe says turtles have been lifted from outside their stores on East Mason in Green Bay and Dickinson Road in De Pere.

It's believed the turtles taken sometime during the overnight hours of April 18-19.

In December, a turtle was taken from Uncle Mike's Suamico store.

The turtles are ceramic and about 3 feet in diameter. They're multi-colored.

"These turtles are part of the community and we would appreciate their safe return," reads a post on the Uncle Mike's Bake Shoppe Facebook page.

The store is asking people to share their post about the turtle theft. They're offering free half Kringles pending the safe return of the turtles.
