Stolen vehicle crashes into Green Bay home

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Saturday evening around 4:43 p.m., Green Bay Police were called for a report of a stolen vehicle.

The owner of the vehicle said they went into their apartment on the 1400 block of Admiral Court with the vehicle running and unlocked.
When they returned outside, the vehicle was missing.

The person’s iPhone was also in the vehicle, leading to officers using the “Find my iPhone” app to locate the nearby vehicle.

As police attempted to stop the stolen vehicle, the driver sped off and got away.

The car ended up crashing into a house at the 1300 block of South Fisk Street. No one was injured.

The car thief was identified as a 17 year old Green Bay male and was taken into custody.

The Green Bay Police Department would like to remind citizens not to leave their keys inside their vehicles unattended.
