MADISON, Wis. (WBAY) - Wisconsin food safety officials are urging consumers to avoid some Brown Chicken Brown Cow Gourmet marinated mushrooms.
The Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection says two types of the mushrooms were processed without documenting food safety controls.
The mushrooms are Tasty Toadstools and Fiery Fungus. They are packaged in glass jars and in vacuum-sealed pouches with dates from May 1, 2017 to the present.
There have been no reports of illnesses related to the mushrooms.
The mushrooms are manufactured by Arty's, which is located in Clintonville.
The DATCP says they have been unable to find out which retail stores sold the mushrooms in question.
Arty's had declined to issue a recall.
