GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - It's early for snowplows to hit the roads but the state's best snowplow drivers were put to the test Thursday at the annual snowplow rodeo.
About 100 drivers competed at the PAWA Snow Plow Road-eo in the Lambeau Field parking lots.
They navigated a tight obstacle course to see who could handle their plows the best. There was also a trade show and seminars for drivers to learn more about plowing.
"I think it's excellent. It gives us the chance to get out of town for a little bit and check out some of the new equipment that's on the market. They have a trade show that's over there, so we get to see some of the new stuff that's available that we may not see every day, and meet some guys from some other towns and learn a little bit more about some things like salting and plowing," Ben Habanek from the Village of Shorewood said.
The top two drivers in the competition will go to Colorado to compete in the national rodeo.
