SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WBAY)- New information has been released in court documents after an arrest in Sheboygan of a woman who is accused of running a drug house and hiding the corpse of an overdose victim.
Police say all of this transpired just prior to Thanksgiving.
The criminal complaint does not identify the victim other than saying he's an adult male who died from a heroin overdose.
Andrea Mullens, 29, faces a number of felony and misdemeanor charges. This includes maintaining a drug trafficking house, hiding a corpse, theft from a corpse, bail jumping, and contributing to the delinquency of a child.
Investigators say Mullens ran a drug house out of an upstairs apartment owned by her parents at 1313 Michigan Ave.
Two minors were also in the apartment at the time the victim overdosed.
Documents indicate Mullens gave the victim Narcan, but when efforts to revive him failed she enlisted the help of one of the minors to hide the corpse by rolling it up in a blanket then placing the body in a crawl space.
Mullens then stole the victim's ID and debit card.
Police conducted a welfare check after being contacted by the cousin of the minor who heard about the incident.
According to the complaint, one person interviewed by investigators said that the apartment was known as "the shop" because of all the drugs kept there.
If convicted, Mullens faces more than 32 years behind bars.
She's due back in court December 12.
