Road maintenance taking place next week in Brown County

BROWN CO., Wis. (WBAY) - The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region office in Green Bay announces state highway maintenance work in Northeast Wisconsin. Maintenance operations are typically preformed in spot locations in the project limits. Traffic impacts do not typically affect the entire highway limits of the maintenance project, or throughout the project’s entire duration. Motorists are urged to slow down and be mindful of workers in close proximity on highways. All maintenance operations are weather dependent. Work is listed by county and highway below.

Brown County, WIS 32, WIS 57 and WIS 172
o Maintenance crews will be sealing northbound WIS 32 between Calumet County line and Deuster Street in Brown County daily, Monday, May 22 through Thursday, May 25 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a flagging operation while repairs take place.
o Maintenance crews will be paving on northbound WIS 57 at off-ramp to University Avenue in Brown County on Tuesday, May 23 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Northbound WIS 57 right lane will be closed while repairs take place.
o Maintenance crews will be milling on westbound WIS 172 at Packerland Drive in Brown County daily, Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23 from 7 a.m. to noon. Westbound WIS 172 right lane will be closed while repairs take place.
