A state lawmaker from De Pere says he'll introduce a bill soon to help in the fight against human trafficking in Wisconsin.

Rep. Andre Jacque says the legislation would impose a mandatory $5,000 fine on those convicted of patronizing or soliciting a prostitute or keeping a place of prostitution.

The money from the fines would go to Internet Crimes Against Children task forces or services to help sex trafficking victims.

Jacque says he'll bring the bill to the Legislature in the next two weeks.
