Registered sex offender gets 20 years for possessing child pornography

APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - An Appleton man who's a registered sex offender was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison and another 10 years for possession of child pornography.

Last February, an Appleton Public Library employee told police a person was trying to access child pornography on the library's Wi-Fi. Police identified the suspect as Brian Kluck, and found 500 pornographic photos and videos of toddlers and pre-teens on his electronic devices. He'd shared some of them by email.

Kluck pleaded guilty to 10 counts of possession of child pornography in November. Seven other possession charges were dropped along with a charge of failing to update his information in the sex offender registry.

Kluck was previously convicted of window peeping and looking into bathroom stalls. He was charged with invasion of privacy and capturing images of nudity in 2010.
