GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Big Brothers Big Sisters announced it will be the first company to move into the newly renovated space that's part of the Railyard District in Green Bay.
Friday we got a look inside their new office space on the north end of Broadway. The new office location will have space for volunteer recruitment meetings and more flexibility for the organization to grow.
Big Brothers Big Sisters hopes the big move to downtown this April will attract more mentors to volunteers.
"Being in downtown allows us a better capability to attract young professionals and just people in the community who want to give back," executive director Katie Hess said.
The Railyard District is being built on the former Larsen Green Bay property north of Kellogg Street near Titletown Brewing. Both commercial and residential buildings are going up.
