HERMAN, Wis. (WBAY) - A fire at a farm on Highway 42 north of Howards Grove was put out without injury to humans or pigs.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office says a 911 call came at 5:15 p.m. saying there was a fire on the second floor of a structure in the town of Herman and that there were pigs inside the structure.

Firefighters from Howards Grove, Ada, Elkhart Lake, Haven, Johnsonville and Town of Sheboygan all responded, along with the Sheboygan and Manitowoc county sheriff's offices.

A section of Highway 42 was closed in both directions for the fire response.

The fire was under control in less than 45 minutes.

There was some structural damage but no further loss to property, the sheriff's office says.

The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical.
