Packers fans tie the knot on the frozen tundra

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) -- It may have been the last game of the season for the Packers, but it was the start of a life together for two “hardy” Packers fans.

Bundled up from head to toe in green and gold, Traci Davis and David Granheim traded in a tux and wedding dress for a fur hat and winter jacket to say "I Do" at Lambeau Field.

“We've been engaged for a while and wanted to get married by the end of the year because our anniversary is New Year's Eve. So, we asked my sister to marry us and she said we have Packers tickets, you guys should get married at Lambeau,” said Traci Davis.

Traci's sister Sue officiated the wedding and helped the couple exchange vows and rings in front of family and fans on the frozen tundra.

“I am pleased to pronounce David and Traci as husband and wife, sealed together today, both in law and in love. David, you may kiss the bride,” said Traci’s sister Sue.

Traci says she remembers coming to Lambeau field as a kid, but for David, this was only his second time at the stadium.

The couple never strayed from their beloved Packers, even after moving to Minnesota. Now, the team will be even closer to their hearts.

“And we get to live happily ever after in our golden years,” said Traci.
