Packers coaching search: more interviews scheduled

GREEN BAY, WIS (WBAY)- The Packers coaching search moves into the interview phase at a rapid pace. Interim Head Coach Joe Philbin interviewed for the job Wednesday, according to the Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein. And according to multiple reports, the team is going to New England to interview Patriots Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels on Friday. The Packers will also interview New England Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores that same day, according to Rob Demovsky of Cover 2 and ESPN.com


On Saturday, the Packers brain trust will be in New Orleans to interview Saints Associate Head Coach and Tight Ends Coach Dan Campbell. And they have added a 2nd interview that day, Saints Offensive Coordinator Pete Carmichael, Jr. That’s according to ESPN.com’s Mike Triplett.


And on Sunday, the Packers are set to interview Titans Offensive Coordinator Matt LaFleur, according to Paul Kuharsky, who covers the Titans in Nashville.


If the Packers have interest in interviewing any of the coaches involved in Wild Card weekend, they must wait to do so until next week
