OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - The Oshkosh Area School District announced Monday, February 18, will be a full day of school to make up for lost classroom time. It was originally set aside for staff development, and students had the day off.
But that won't be the only change. The district says the school board will discuss other ways to make up for lost time at its meeting February 13 in case this winter forces more snow days.
The Oshkosh school district built two days into its calendar in case of school closings, but there were two more snow days -- or "cold days" -- than it anticipated.
Another make-up day was already scheduled for June 10.
