Oshkosh woman reported missing by family found safe

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - UPDATE:

Oshkosh Police say a 74-year-old woman who was reported missing Tuesday morning has been located and she is unharmed.

Judith Anderson's family reported her missing before 8:00 a.m. Tuesday. About an hour prior to that, police had received the report of a woman walking east in the 1200 block of E. Murdock Avenue. The caller indicated the woman might have seemed confused.

Police confirmed that Judith Anderson was the subject of that call.

Searchers combed the area, including the waters of Miller's Bay in Menominee Park.

Oshkosh Police did not release information on how or where Anderson was found.

The Oshkosh Police Department and Oshkosh Fire Department are working together to try and find a missing elderly woman.

Judith Anderson, 74 years old, is described as being 5’4", 135 pounds, with short strawberry-red hair.

Her family reported her missing before 8:00 a.m. Tuesday. About an hour prior to that, police had received the report of a elderly woman walking east in the 1200 block of E. Murdock Avenue. The caller said the woman wore pants, a blouse, a scarf and possibly a bra over the top of her shirt. The caller indicated the woman might have seemed confused.

Authorities searched the waters of Millers Bay Tuesday morning and found no sign of the woman.
