"Basically, this is a way for us to get our message out with a new year that we're not going to tolerate people dealing drugs in this city, and that we have a fantastic group of investigators that are solely assigned to our vice narcotics unit, investigating those crimes," said Officer Kate Mann of the Oshkosh Police Department.

Others like Scott Garrity who live nearby said the amount of drugs confiscated came as a bit of a shock.

"Well, I'm just glad that they got them out of the neighborhood, and nobody was hurt in process," said Garrity.
