One person dead, another injured after police pursuit ends in crash

LANGLADE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) -- One person is dead and another injured after a vehicle rolled over while being pursued by police on Saturday.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the Shawano County Sheriff's Department was in pursuit of a vehicle going 91 mph in a 55 mph zone.

The vehicle rolled over and crashed on US 45 NB at Old 26 Road in Langlade County near Antigo.

The driver, 35-year-old Stacey B. King from Green Bay, died in the crash.

The passenger, 36-year-old Albert Biddell from Antigo, was flown to Aspirus Wausau Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say neither the driver or passenger were wearing seatbelts.
