No injuries in Green Bay manufacturing facility fire

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A fire at a Green Bay manufacturing facility caused about $2,000 in damage, according to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.

At 8:11 a.m., firefighters responded to Bayland Industries, 2929 Walker Dr. Fire in a heat exhaust for a manufacturing oven spread to the roof.

Crews found smoke and flames inside the warehouse. They were able to quickly put it out.

Crews worked inside the building and on the roof.

No one was hurt.

Once the building was cleared of hazards and air quality was safe, employees were allowed to return to work.

The Green Bay Metro Fire Department Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
