Neville Museum hosts rock and gem show

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - People of all ages learned more about the earth at the Neville Public Museum Geology Club’s Rock, Gem, Mineral, Jewelry, and Fossil Show.

The show was held April 6 and 7 at the museum in downtown Green Bay.

The show featured crafts, rock identification, custom jewelry, beads and children's activities.

The Geology Club tells Action 2 News that the event allows people to admire earth's beauty.

The show was a fundraiser for the club, which has been part of the museum since 1962. The club provides educational programs in earth sciences. It also awards a scholarship to a student seeking a career in geology.
