MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) - Manitowoc Police reported Wednesday night a woman suspected of stabbing a man contacted the police department and turned herself in.
On Tuesday evening, officers were called to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for a report of a man in the emergency room with a stab wound.
A witness told police that there had been a domestic dispute between a man and a woman who live together on the city's south side.
Police say the woman, identified as Jasmine Walker, stabbed the man in the torso with a large folding knife.
The man's injury is described as "non-life threatening."
Walker helped get the man to the hospital then took off. Police reached out to the public to help find her.
Police say she turned herself in without incident.
Police expect she'll face a charge of Substantial Battery.
