Man injured when clothing is caught in farm equipment

HERMAN, Wis. (WBAY) - Update: The sheriff's office corrected the location to County Hwy FF

A 30-year-old man was injured in a farm accident in northcentral Sheboygan County Thursday.

The sheriff's office says the man suffered serious injuries after his clothing was caught in a piece of farm equipment known as a PTO. The PTO, or power takeoff, spins to transfer power from tractors to farm implements.

The accident happened on County Highway FF in the town of Herman. The man was transported to a hospital by Flight for Life.

We don't know his condition, and his name wasn't immediately made public.

In addition to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office and Flight for Life, the Ada and Howards Grove fire departments and Orange Cross Ambulance responded to the scene.
