APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - Appleton Police say a man was injured in an incident late Friday.
Officers responded to the 700 block of West Franklin Street between Locust and Richmond.
Police tell Action 2 News the initial call reported a shooting. A man was found with a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital. Officials said the injury was self-inflicted due to an accidental discharge.
Police went door-to-door to speak with people in the neighborhood.
