State arson investigators have determined the June 30 home explosion in the Town of Oneida in Outagamie County was caused by a gas leak, and was not criminal in nature.

Two people were killed by the blast at W1520 Ray Road. Emily Tank, 27, was found dead Saturday morning.

On Sunday, officials released the name of the man who was taken to the hospital for his severe burns and injuries. Alan Wiesler, 65, died from his injuries Sunday, according to police.

Oneida police say the criminal investigation into this incident is now closed.

“Our condolences go out to both families in this very unfortunate incident,” said Oneida Police Chief Rich Van Boxtel.
